Our Violin, Viola, and Cello teachers teach a variety of styles from classical lessons to pop music. Our teachers will show you how to read, give solid technique and theory, but they’ll also incorporate songs you want to learn into the process. Our strings teachers have great personalities and make learning fun.

Do I need to purchase a violin, viola or cello to learn the instrument?

You may rent these instruments at a very competitive rate from Blackbird Music (for your convenience, students can use one of ours at their first lesson). But to practice at home, you will need an instrument. See our rental page for more information.
