Blackbird Music and Art Center offers private lessons for most instruments including piano, voice, drums, percussion, guitar, bass, brass, and woodwinds. Private lessons are 30 minute sessions with an instructor one-on one.

All of our teachers are highly qualified and experienced in teaching students according to their individual needs. Our teachers have degrees or are currently in pursuit of a degree in their area of expertise. They are accomplished performers and perform regularly in our community.

Students are given customized lesson plans to help achieve their goals. We encourage our students to perform as much as possible and our center will provide regular opportunities for students to show what they have learned in a relaxed setting. Performances are not mandatory.
