Owners, Robb and Melody Smith decided to open a business that fulfilled their love of the arts in a growing community where there was a definite need  for music and art instruction. The Smiths believe that the gift of music and art is a talent that can develop into a successful career or a lifelong hobby and passion.

Robb has been an accomplished percussionist for the last 20 years performing all over the world and Melody has been a successful artist and art teacher for the last 20 years as well.

Blackbird Music & Art Center is a unique experience that consists of 6 music lesson studios and a classroom for music as well as art lessons. Our art and music teachers are highly qualified instructors who will customize each lesson to the students ability.

The center provides music and art for the whole family. Our coffee, beverage and snack cafe located in our art gallery corner provides a relaxing atmosphere as well as some great performances by students and professionals on the Blackbird stage at night. Stay tuned for our calendar of performances.
